Silver Package: Short, Simple and Focused!

This is the introductory level of our in-home training. It is a 1-one hour in-home private session. We typically cover how to get your dog to pay attention using resource control/hand feeding techniques. We also teach how to institute “Non-Negotiable Rules” along with new routines. The goal is to get back to rewarding what we like and redirecting what we don’t. We specifically will work on door skills and how to greet house guests the right way. Let’s face it, if your dog can not pay attention to you within the four walls of your own home, then why would you think he/she would be able to do so in a group class, on a walk or when dealing with any other distractions?

As with any of our services, you can upgrade to the next level for just the price difference between the two… so, no pressure… start small and feel free to upgrade if necessary!

Total Package Cost: $130.00

Please read and review the following before scheduling any services or classes:

  • Please review the FAQ and Fine Print sections of the site before making a decision on any K.I.S.S. Dog Training options.
  • NOTE: There is a Non-Refundable Deposit for booking private sessions or reserving spots in group classes. Your appointments will not be valid until payment is received.

Gold Package: I Need Some Accountability Help!

Once we have the basics of paying attention under our belt the Gold package takes us to the next level of training. Welcome to Leash and Recall (coming when called) skills. We will work not only with regular leashes, but also hands-free setups and long lines. If necessary we will discuss the different no pull devices and weigh the pros and cons of each.  This session comes with three (3) one-hour in-home private sessions, so there is plenty of time to practice and get follow up from the trainer on the things that might need some extra coaching!  This package has all the follow up and support you need.

As with any of our services, you can upgrade to the next level for just the price difference between the two… so, no pressure… start small and feel free to upgrade if necessary!

The Platinum package adds two more one hour private in-home sessions for a total of 5 and we use them to work in the outside world; parks, dog friendly stores even dog friendly events. Kids and K9’s!

Class taught at Shawnee Mission Medical Center

You made it through the pregnancy and infancy but now the family dog is having to deal with a child who is mobile! Many times, the real interaction issues with dogs and kids occur when a child’s mobility and independence develop. As parents, we need to make sure we know 100 percent of what can be expected from not only the family dog but also from the children. The more prepared we are the better the experience will be!

Kids and K9s is a class where we teach the following:

  • Things to never do with a dog!
  • Stuff to consider when talking about dog bites
  • Basic rules and routines for both the dogs and the kids
  • Importance of owning a dog?
  • Basics of dog learning.

The purpose of this class is to give you, the parents or caregivers of the family dog, the tools to institute rules, routines and management practices that will keep both the children and the family dog happy, healthy and safe.

30 Minute In Home Training Assessment & Meet the Trainer

This is your chance to meet the trainer and get his opinions of what you and your dog need before starting with an actual training package. Many in our industry offer free estimates or assessments but, in the end, suggest packages that can cost thousands of dollars. Our most expensive session is less than $500.00 so we do charge $50.00 for our time, travel and office staff but it gives you a chance to see if you “Jive” with the trainer and a chance for us to let you know up front what we think the training process will involve. Again, this option is so that we can be as transparent as possible and make sure our clients go into training knowing exactly what is going to happen, what will be expected and how much it will cost!!! If you have any questions just call the office at 913-269-7595 and we will be happy to help!
