Just here for a quick update and a huge thank you for your help with our big dude.
The training language is a part of our everyday life and he’s so much more calm and confident knowing what we’re asking of him. Words like “wait” and “leave it” are used in many different situations, yet he knows exactly what we’re asking of him every time. When we’re out in public he automatically turns his back to other dogs and ignores them, even if they’re barking or bigger than him; the “leave it” is automatic for him now. He now loves company in the house and follows everyone everywhere. His kennel aggression is completely gone. He loves car rides. We’re still working on places like Home Depot, outdoor patios, etc.
Romeo has been a perfect example of what consistency in the training will get you. There were days I thought he’d never listen and I wanted to give up, but I stuck with the routine and training…and it worked!!
