Ok so I definitely fall into the camp that you never correct a growl, rather you try to understand why it occurred and then condition the thing that caused the growl to be less scary… And yes I believe that most growls and forms of dog aggression are based in Fear which trigger a Freeze, Flight, Fight scenario… What I really like about the article is the ideas it give to understand and modify behavior vs punishing it… Love to hear your thoughts and ideas!
